Update 9/17/2013 – 11:00am

We are still assessing, repairing, and working toward recovery as quickly and safely as possible.  We have brought in multiple additional construction crews to assist with line repairs.  The tanks are filling, and the system is getting back online.  We have also started the process of assessing damages in our Left Hand Creek watershed.  THE BOIL ADVISORY IS STILL IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, AS ARE THE MANDATORY USAGE RESTRICTIONS.  Phones are out again at the administrative office but we are answering calls on our emergency cell phones provided by Verizon Wireless.  We are monitoring the lhwd@lefthandwater.org email, please direct specific inquiries there.  We do not have any updates on timeframe on lifting the boil advisory or any updates on restoration of service to specific areas of the District.  Please stay tuned, our activity is very dynamic now that we are able to be in the field working.  With a District that covers 130 square miles and has 350 miles of pipeline, we do have crews spread over a wide geographic area.  We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and support.
